Our most popular spirit. 3799 is a sipping bourbon made from the the highest quality ingredients and produced with small batch methods. The oak used in our barrels comes from the North. Because of the shorter growing season, the trees have more growth-rings per inch, which significantly affects the flavor of our bourbon (smooth with caramel, vanilla, and almond notes). Give it a little shake before you pour. It's up to you whether you want to share it with your friends... or not.

MCLAUGHLIN OLD FASHIONED
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
1/2 oz Black Cherry Moonshine
Bada Bing cherry/Luxardo cherry
Orange peel
Ice
1. In a mixing glass add ice, bourbon, black cherry moonshine
2. Stir and strain into rocks glass with ice
3. Garnish with Luxardo cherry and orange peel
CLASSIC OLD FASHIONED
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
1/2 oz Simple syrup
3-5 dashes Orange Angostura Bitters
Bada Bing cherry/Luxardo cherry
Orange peel
Ice
1. In a mixing glass add ice, bourbon and bitters
2. Stir and strain into rocks glass with ice
3. Garnish with Luxardo cherry and orange peel
MAPLE OLD FASHIONED
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
1/4 oz Black Cherry Moonshine
1/2 oz Maple syrup
Bada Bing cherry/Luxardo cherry

2. Stir and strain into rocks glass with ice

HONEY OLD FASHIONED
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
1/2 oz Honey simple syrup (2 cups honey, 1 cup water, simmer for 20 min - do not boil)
Bada Bing cherry/Luxardo cherry
Orange peel
Ice
1. In a mixing glass add ice, bourbon, black cherry moonshine
2. Stir and strain into rocks glass with ice
3. Garnish with Luxardo cherry and orange peel
MANHATTAN
2 oz McLaughlin's 3799 Bourbon
1/2 oz Sweet vermouth
3-5 dashes Angostura Bitters
Bada Bing cherry/Luxardo cherry
Ice
1. In a mixing glass, muddle a Bada Bing cherry in the bottom of the glass
2. Add ice to the glass
3. Add the bourbon, sweet vermouth, bitters
4. Stir and strain into rocks glass with ice
5. Garnish with Luxardo cherry and orange peel
CHOCOLATE OLD FASHIONED
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
½ oz Simple Syrup
4 dashes of chocolate bitters (such as Free Brothers Aztec Chocolate Bitters) or 1/2 oz Chocolate Moonshine
Orange peel
1. Combined all ingredients into a mixing glass
2. Add ice
3. Stir and strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice
4. Garnish with a flamed orange peel
BLACKBERRY BOURBON SMASH
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
1 oz simple syrup
½ oz Lemon juice
Blackberries
Mint
Club Soda
Ice
1. Add blackberries and mint to a shaker and muddle
2. Add ice to the shaker
3. Add bourbon and lemon juice
4. Shake to chill and strain into a julep cup or rocks glass
5. Top with club soda
BOURBON LEMONADE
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
2 oz Lemonade Moonshine
2 oz Lemonade
Ice
1. Add ice, bourbon, lemonade moonshine and lemonade to the shaker
2. Shake to chill
3. Strain into a highball glass or rocks glass with ice
4. Garnish with a lemon wheel
LUCK OF THE IRISH
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
2 oz Peach Moonshine
2 oz Hokie Pokie Moonshine
Green food coloring (for some fun)
Seltzer or Lime Seltzer
Ice
Lime or Mint for garnish
1. Add ice, bourbon, moonshines, and green food coloring to the shaker
2. Shake to chill
3. Strain into rocks glass with ice
4. Top with seltzer
4. Garnish with lime or mint
MAPLE BROWN DERBY
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
1 oz Ruby Red Grapefruit Moonshine
1/4 oz Maple syrup
Ice
1. Add ice, bourbon, moonshine and syrup to the shaker
2. Shake to chill
3. Strain into rocks glass with ice or straight into a coupe glass
NEW YORK SOURS
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
1 oz Lemon juice
1 oz Simple syrup
Red wine
Garnish with lemon twist
1. Add ice, bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup to a shaker
2. Shake to chill
3. Strain into a rocks glass with ice
4. Slowly layer red wine on top (just enough to cover the top)
5. Garnish with a lemon twist
BOURBON TART
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
2 oz Cranberry juice
1 oz Peach Moonshine
1/2 oz Lemon juice
Garnish with a lemon twist or peach slice
1. Add ice to a shaker
2. Add bourbon, cranberry juice, peach moonshine, lemon juice and ice to shaker
3.Shake to chill
4.Strain into a rocks glass over ice
5. Garnish with an orange peel
PENNSYLVANIA JACKASS
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
1/2 oz Lime juice
Ginger beer
Ice
Lime to garnish
1. Add ice to a mule mug
2. Add bourbon and lime juice to mug ( give a little stir) top with ginger beer and lime
JOHNNY APPLESEED
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
1 oz Apple Pie Moonshine
Squeeze of lemon
Garnish with a lemon twist or peach slice
1. Add ice to a shaker
2. Add bourbon, apple pie moonshine, lemon juice and ice to shaker
3. Strain into a rocks glass over ice
4. Garnish with a lemon peel or wheel
Optional: Top with apple cider and even warm it up if you like
Mint Julep
2 oz 3799 Bourbon
1 oz simple syrup or 2 sugar cubes
Mint leaves (about 4-5)
Ice
1. Add mint and simple syrup* it a mixing glass and muddle
2. Add bourbon and ice
3. Stir to chill
4. Strain into a rocks glass with shaved ice
5. Garnish with mint
*if using sugar cubes add a splash of water before muddling
