Thanksgiving is right around the corner, Christmas isn't far behind, and we're officially entering that time of year when everybody's calendar starts filling up faster than their refrigerator.

Family dinners, holiday parties, last-minute grocery runs, and the annual debate over who's bringing what. Before you know it, somebody's asking you to make drinks for twenty people, and your entire cocktail repertoire consists of pouring something over ice and hoping for the best.

Well, we've got a few ideas that might come in handy.

Our Holiday Cocktail Class is back, and this time, we're throwing a little friendly competition into the mix! 🍸🍪

Join us on Tuesday, November 24th, from 5:30–8:00 PM for an evening of creative holiday cocktails, seasonal flavors, homemade cookies, and a few tricks worth keeping up your sleeve for the upcoming festivities.

Our resident mixologist, Jen, will be behind the bar putting together an assortment of holiday-inspired creations, including some creative variations featuring our very own Boozy Egg Nog.

Not an egg nog fan? No problem.

We'll have plenty of other flavors and cocktail styles in the mix, from refreshing and fruity to rich and comforting. Whether you're hosting Thanksgiving dinner or planning a Christmas get-together, you'll leave with a few new ideas worth trying at home.

Throughout the evening, Jen will share the ingredients, techniques, and inspiration behind her creations, along with practical mixology tips you can put to good use.

And yes, you'll get to enjoy three full cocktails during the class.

No bartending experience necessary. Just good company, great drinks, and a chance to learn something new before the holiday madness really gets rolling.

Think you've got a cookie recipe that can hold its own against the competition?

Maybe it's a family recipe that's been handed down for generations. Maybe your chocolate chip cookies are the reason people keep inviting you to parties. Or maybe you've just spent years quietly believing your cookies are better than everybody else's.

Well, here's your chance to find out.

Want to enter? Here's how it works:

• Bring four dozen homemade cookies of your choosing.
• Email info@mclaughlindistillery.com ahead of time with your name and the type of cookies you're bringing so we can get you on the list.
• We'll put the entries out for everyone to sample and let our guests vote for their favorites.
• We'll announce the winner before the evening wraps up.

What's at stake? Bragging rights and just maybe a special early gift from Santa. 🎅

The competition is completely optional and included with your regular admission. No baking skills required to attend. You're more than welcome to enjoy the cocktails, sample the cookies, and cast your vote.

Although showing up with an empty stomach probably wouldn't be the worst idea.
