For the first time in McLaughlin Distillery history, we're proud to introduce our very first true rye whiskey: Allegheny Rye — Inaugural Single Barrel Release.

Years of handcrafted spirits and whiskey-making have brought us to this moment. And for a first release, we wanted something that would stand apart.

One barrel. 121 proof. Just 28 individually numbered bottles.

A Bold New Chapter

Crafted from a mash bill of 75% rye and 25% corn, Allegheny Rye brings together the bold, spicy character of rye with the natural sweetness of corn.

Distilled off the grain and aged in a five-gallon barrel with a #4 char, this whiskey embodies the hands-on, small-batch approach that defines McLaughlin Distillery.

Bottled straight from the barrel at a commanding 121 proof (60.5% ABV), without dilution or blending, this inaugural release captures the full-strength character of a single barrel.

With rye's signature peppery spice, the warmth of toasted oak, and the subtle sweetness that corn brings to the mash, Allegheny Rye is a whiskey made for those who appreciate bold, full-strength spirits with plenty of character.

Our inaugural barrel yielded just 28 bottles, each individually laser-engraved with commemorative release details and its own unique bottle number, from 1 through 28.

No second allocation. No additional bottles from this barrel. And no way to recreate this exact release.
