🥃Sigma Pi Gamma Delta Exclusive Single Barrel Release ~$69.99 (100 proof, 50% alc/vol) 🥃

When the brothers of Sigma Pi Gamma Delta came to the distillery, we lined up three different barrels and tasted through each. The clear standout—chosen unanimously—was barrel #1822. Aged 5 years and 1 month in a #4 char 5-gallon cask and proofed to 100 (50% alc/vol), this bourbon delivers rich character, complex depth, and a finish that lingers long after the sip. It’s a single barrel, never to be repeated, and once these bottles are gone, they’re gone. Future picks will each have their own story, but this release marks the very first chapter in what we hope becomes a lasting tradition.

Brotherhood Bonding with Bourbon

McLaughlin Distillery is proud to partner with Sigma Pi Gamma Delta of Slippery Rock University in support of a cause that’s as meaningful as it is memorable. Through this local fundraising initiative, we’re donating a portion of all proceeds from the sale of three exclusive bourbon offerings to benefit the College Educational Fund (CEF) Scholarship Awards—providing vital financial support to active student members of the fraternity pursuing their education at Slippery Rock University.

To honor the deep-rooted values of brotherhood, tradition, and growth that Sigma Pi represents, each commemorative bottle is more than just a spirit—it’s a keepsake. Every bottle will feature custom glass etching: the Greek letters of Sigma Pi displayed vertically, and proudly etched across the front, the words:
“Sigma Pi – Gamma Delta – Slippery Rock University – 2025.”

This is more than a bottle—it’s a celebration of connection. A tribute to the kindred minds who stood beside you on campus, the Big who showed you the ropes, the Lil you watched grow, and the lifelong friendships that continue well beyond graduation. Whether you’re toasting with family, surprising a brother, or gifting yourself (again… and again), this bourbon is meant to be shared in the same spirit that brought you all together in the first place.

Brotherhood isn’t bound by time or distance—and neither is this bottle. Raise a glass. Remember your roots. And help fund the future, one pour at a time.

We’re proud to offer not just one, but three unique expressions of bourbon to mark this special effort. While each variation shares the same mash bill, you’ll be amazed by how differently they drink—each one carrying its own character, finish, and personality. If you're local, swing by the distillery for a complimentary tasting (yes, always free of charge) and experience the contrast for yourself. And don’t come alone—bring your Big, your Lil, or anyone else who understands the bond of a shared pour. And keep your glasses ready—we’re already planning future Sigma Pi Gamma Delta exclusive single barrel releases that you won’t want to miss.

3799 Bourbon ~$69.99

Our most popular spirit. 3799 is a sipping bourbon made from the the highest quality ingredients and produced with small batch methods. The oak used in our barrels comes from the North. Because of the shorter growing season, the trees have more growth-rings per inch, which significantly affects the flavor of our bourbon (smooth with caramel, vanilla, and almond notes). Give it a little shake before you pour. It's up to you whether you want to share it with your friends... or not.

Baby Barrel Bourbon ~$99

There’s something magical about bourbon. Somehow, with just a few humble ingredients—corn, water, yeast—and a charred wooden barrel, patience transforms them into a rich, complex, and beautifully balanced spirit. It’s a drink meant to be savored, appreciated, and enjoyed.

Bourbon is a world of its own, with every distillery putting its own signature twist on it. Here at McLaughlin Distillery, we do things our own way with a 100% corn mash bill—not the most common choice, but one that defines our unique style. The result? A smooth & balanced bourbon that lets the rich caramel, vanilla, and oak flavors shine.

And then there’s the baby in Baby Barrel Bourbon—aged in our tiny 2.5-gallon barrels. These barrels may be small, but they pack a punch, allowing for more direct contact between the spirit and the wood. That means bigger, bolder flavors in every sip. We source our oak from up North, where trees grow slowly and densely, creating more growth rings per inch—which directly enhances the flavor of the bourbon. The result? A spirit that soaks up deep, oaky richness and develops layers of complexity that simply can’t be rushed.

After about 5 years of aging, it’s time for the best part—the barrel harvest. Opening those barrels is an event around here. The aroma alone is out of this world—sweet, warm, and loaded with vanilla, caramel, and spice. It’s the reward for years of patience and dedication to the craft, and every single bottle carries that story.

Cask Strength Baby Barrel Bourbon ~$199

2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition Double Gold Medal Winner

Cask Strength Baby Barrel Bourbon takes things to another level. This is a single-cask, unblended bourbon, bottled at cask strength (120-125 proof). No dilution, no adjustments—just pure, unfiltered intensity straight from the barrel. The result? A powerful, full-bodied sip that delivers an extreme depth of flavor, a rich, buttery mouthfeel, and a long, lingering warmth that keeps you coming back for more. This bourbon isn’t just bold—it’s unapologetically so.

CURRENT CASK: 5 year, 3 month 122.5 Proof (61.25% alc/vol)

Dark amber in color. Clings to glass with slow moving legs. Butterscotch sweetness on the nose, very thick on the palate with heavy tones of oak, hints of baking spices ,and vanilla undertones. Very clean/smooth finish for a 120.6 proof. Lingers on the palate but in the best way possible.
