There’s a bend in the road where the trees lean in a little tighter, where the wind carries old stories, and where the maps have long since forgotten to mark the way. That’s Blackburn Road. It’s a place that doesn’t rush, doesn’t fake, and doesn’t compromise—and we built this whiskey the same way.

Blackburn Rye is our very first rye release, and it was never meant to be ordinary. At its core is a daring blend: 50% five-year bourbon, slow-aged until the oak had a chance to leave its deep mark, and 50% rye spirit distilled fresh off the grain, raw and untamed, still wild at heart. Together, the two collide into something bigger than either could be alone—a whiskey with the patience of time and the punch of its roots.

This isn’t a spirit designed to whisper politely. At 125 proof, it’s bold, fiery, and unafraid, yet layered with richness. The bourbon lays down a foundation of caramel, oak, and slow, steady depth, while the rye streaks through with a snap of spice and a raw edge that keeps you coming back for another sip.

We take an extra step most don’t: fermenting on the grain and distilling off the grain. It’s labor-intensive, sure, but worth every ounce of effort. That process pulls more depth from the mash while refining the final spirit, giving Blackburn Rye a cleaner body without sacrificing intensity. It’s the difference you can taste—the difference that makes this bottle stand apart.
