WHO WE ARE
McLaughlin Distillery is a small batch, craft distillery located in Sewickley, Pennsylvania that specializes in bourbon, whiskey and naturally flavored moonshines. Tucked away in the woods of Sewickley Hills (just minutes outside of Pittsburgh), we have more of an old-school moonshiner feel—but don't let our appearance deceive you. Owner Kim McLaughlin brings a wealth of experience. Stemming from his family's tradition of distilling, he takes great pride in every product. Each spirit is handcrafted to perfection. We do not have expensive machinery or a large staff. Come visit our operation and you quickly realize that we have a lot of fun and truly love what we do. We enjoy a chat and getting to know the people who walk through our doors. We hope you enjoy our products as much as we enjoy making them!
OUR HISTORY
After twenty years of owning and running a dairy farm, veteran Kim McLaughlin (USMC) made the switch from farming to working in the oil and gas field in Western Pennsylvania. After five years in PA, the oil and gas industry slowed down and Kim was laid off. This gave him the opportunity to pursue his long time passion and begin his journey in the world of craft distilling. After a long and arduous approval process, McLaughlin Distillery officially opened in 2016.
